Heaven at Highwood River Inn is a 7 bed retreat centre on the banks of the Highwood River.

Breathtaking scenery, comfortable rooms and delicious food make this a place where people sigh, relax and remember what life was meant to be.

UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT!

Highwood River Inn is now under the care of The Stampede Ranch.

The Edey family has owned the historic Stampede Ranch (formerly owned by Calgary Stampede visionary Guy Weadick) since 1965. The property was purchased with the intention of creating a program for at risk youth. This would take Mervyn and Bernice Edey 10 years to make a reality. In the meantime they ran the Ranch as a working cattle/horse ranch and a guest ranch. Management of the Highwood River Inn brings this full circle.

The intention for Heaven at Highwood River Inn is to serve not only the lucky guests who find their way to us, but as a benefit for the youth at Stampede Ranch for Kids and our neighbours with the Stoney Nakoda First Nation.

We believe that this business can be a place where, in the spirit of Truth, giving and receiving are one.
